The Wheelers band members are a collection of lawyers from Brookshire Law Office, Teryl Scott Lawyers Inc, and Richardson’s Law Office – Shawn’s mother also joined the band and plays the piano. They began volunteering to perform in local nursing homes when Shawn’s father was admitted to White Hills Nursing Home. Shawn is also a history buff and is working on a book about Nova Scotia history in the 1700s.

He had a film short shown at the Atlantic Film Festival entitled “The Mariner of Minasville” on a child soldier from Hants County that fought in the American Civil War (2005).
